February’s Intentional Strength for Moon Days classes will be held at Pacific Ashtanga Yoga Shala!
Saturday, February 8th at 9:30am and Sunday, February 23rd at 9am. And because we’ll be at the Shala, we’ll focus on what people consider the “Yoga of Kettlebells”, the Turkish Getup.
The Getup is a movement that allows you to get up off the floor holding a weight. While simple in explanation, this fluid movement is great for shoulders, hips, abs, and backs - it works on mobility, stability, and strength at many different angles.
Come learn with Val on your Ashtanga rest day. We’ll decide which kettlebells you’ll need for your home practice, and we’ll send you on your way with the tools you need to be stronger for your practice and for life!
