Join Nutritionist, Chloe, and take some time to reset with her Winter detox! January is the perfect time of year to cleanse. After all that wonderful and often indulgent holiday time your spirit animal may be more of a sloth rather than a stallion… Do not worry all of this is fixable! Whether you want to trim down or just keep on track a gentle detox will be perfect to give your system a break and reset leaving you energized, vibrant and ready to make the most out of 2020.
When detoxing it is vital to take the time of year into account as food energetics play an important role in keeping you balanced. During winter it is optimal to eat warming seasonal foods that will preserve your body’s metabolic state.
To tap into those wonderful benefits we will detox together for 2 weeks, starting January 5th (you can always purchase the detox and start in your own time). The first part of the week will be gently detoxing your body by eating simpler plant based foods. Half way through we will move into our 3 day liquid cleanse. Over 3 days we will eat easily digestible but still nourishing liquid foods allowing the body to reset, lighten up, reduce inflammation and strengthen the digestive system. We will then move back into eating vibrant solid foods leaving the body feeling energized and revitalized.
What is provided:
A full two week plant based detox menu with detailed recipes including the 3 days liquid cleanse. (menu can be personalized at added cost) Shopping list + all ingredients needed for each meal Detox protocol and self care tips Detox start meeting at Pacific Health and Wellness with support meetings throughout the 2 weeks. "Stress doesn't only make us feel awful emotionally," says Jay Winner, MD, author of ‘Take the Stress Out of Your Life’ and director of the Stress Management Program for Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, Calif. "It can also exacerbate just about any health condition you can think of." Experience what it’s like to do a natural, therapeutic process that lets you release stress and stored tension in the body while calming down your nervous system. Using seven simple exercises that fatigue your muscles, you’ll learn TRE.
TRE [Tension & Stress Release Exercises] made it onto Harper’s Bazaar 2019 Biggest Wellness Trends. It’s been called “the stress-busting trend that everyone can benefit from”. The May 2019 issue of O, the Oprah Magazine, also featured it in a several page article where Caroline Myss, author of “Anatomy of the Spirit: The Seven Stages of Power and Healing” discusses how it benefited one of her clients. You’ll have lots of opportunity for attention and questions in this small group setting. Change your stress script by shaking off what’s holding you back. Leave feeling more relaxed and energized.
About Christine E. Taylor, MA, RYT-200 Christine is a certified TRE provider and has a private practice in the Orange County, CA area that includes teaching somatic healing techniques such as Neurogenic Yoga, meditation, and breathing that reflect her multi-faceted journey within the field of wellness. Her compassion-centered philosophy focuses on rediscovering the innate vibrancy of our body, mind, and spirit.

A biohackers' guide to mastering your nervous system and optimising your lifestyle.
In this workshop, Kasper van der Meulen will take you on a journey through your own physiology and teach you to gain deeper control over your nervous system. The modern world puts a constant strain on our mind and body and stress seems to be a constant threat. But is doesn’t have to be this way! With some simple tweaks in the way you understand your own body, mind and breath, stress can become a superpower. This is not about pushing through the pain or hacking yourself into oblivion, but about deeply understanding the workings of human nature and using it to re-learn self care in the deepest sense of the word.
Kasper will demystify the latest scientific understandings of human biology as it relates to self-optimisation and state management. You will learn easy-to-implement breathing protocols, lifehacks and mental techniques to access states of flow, focus, productivity, rest, regeneration, sleep and joy.
Kasper has a background as a science teacher and has transformed himself from being burned out, depressed, overweight and unhappy to living a lifestyle of personal freedom and optimal health.
He wrote his amazon bestseller “MindLift - Mental Fitness for the Modern Mind” in just 30 days and and co-founded a human performance center called “Move Lift Act Breathe” where he tinkers with all things biohacking, breathing and human optimisation. His teaching style sparkles with engaging storytelling, “in-plain-English” scientific explanations and powerful techniques. Also be prepared for the “occasional" pun or dad joke.
